Adidas Ardwick X Green 1/500 Trainers

It's been some time now since the latest release of Adidas Ardwick X Oi Polloi 1/500's took place. And out of the 500 pairs, it now looks like things have gone quiet, with only one genuine pair being sold on eBay. It appears that all the people who bought them to resell have made, and spent their profit earned (this was a while ago) and the collectors are now holding on to them for dear life! Unless one of them becomes short of cash, obtains another pair for a good price, or just so happens to not want to be an Adidas collector anymore (Does happen.. Occasionally). Only then will you see more pairs for sale online.

Ardwick X Oi Polloi

True to the price trend for these trainers when being resold, the one pair of Ardwick for sale on eBay are being sold for a little under £500. Considering there are only five hundred pairs, this could still be a decent investment down the line for someone who has a bit of money to spend and wants to put them away for a good few years. When trainers are even harder to find for sale, they will most probably command more money when a pair does finally come up for sale at auction. Especially in the most common, more desirable sizes, like UK 8, 9 and 10.

Ardwick's aside, I seen someone the other day selling a pair of Adidas GT Manchester Spezial on eBay. The person was selling them as a pair of 1/500's, even though they were just your average pair of GT's. I think it was just a case of the seller not knowing the difference between the two. The low price and non-existent "1/500" at the back of the shoes gave it away instantly.

This could cause the seller a problem down the line if a buyer, who doesn't know the difference between normal GT Manchester's and 1/500, wins them in the auction and thinks they've managed to grab themselves an original pair of Adidas Manchester 1/500's. Only to find out that they are a reproduction produced in considerable numbers if compared to the 500 pairs of the extremely sought after, rare Adidas 1/500 Manchester. Note: These green Ardwick's do not have the 1/500 symbol / logo (neither embossed wording or print) at the back of the shoe.

Adidas Space Diver Limited Sizes

Adidas Space Diver, one of the nicest boot style Adidas currently for sale the in the UK and USA, are quite disappointingly not available in that many adult sizes. Take a look on all the main websites that sell the Space divers, including Amazon and eBay, and you will quickly discover that the sizes available are very limited. Sizing availability is sporadic. Try and find an adults UK size 9 or 10 in any colour combination. Chances are you will not find a pair for sale.

One of the most popular editions is the Limited Edition New York Knicks (pictured above), which are very difficult to get hold of. There is a few UK size 7's out there, but sellers want biggish money for them. Women's pairs (smaller sizes) are much more easier to get hold of, like the Blue Q21306. The Green Q33770 are dope. Cheap too. And while they are out there for sale UK 7 and smaller, anything above that, like a size 9, are basically non existent online.

Adidas should make and release more pairs of Space Diver in the most popular colourways. From all the enquires I receive on a weekly basis, it seems to me that if Adidas released a big batch of larger adult sizes in the most dope colourways, they would sell extremely well. In fact, I'm sure they'd sell out. Great trainers.

Side Note: Beware of fakes. There are a few "sellers" who are aware of how sought after the bigger sizes are, and as a result they have stooped to selling fakes in order to gain some quick money. Be sure to check the feedback before parting with your cash. You should be able to spot the fake pairs a mile off because the buyers who actually bought them have left feedback saying "Fake" "Fell apart".

Rare Adidas Manchester 1/500 Trainers

Sneaker heads, trainer collectors, whatever you want to call them, will all know about the Adidas Manchester (X-Anniversary Edition) 1/500 and how hard they now are to get hold of. The reason why they are so elusive is that, like the name points out, there was only ever five hundred pairs made / released. And people who own them won't part with theirs unless they fall on hard times or decide to sell part or all of their collection. Each pair should have a number assigned to it. Such as No. 45 out of 500 etc.

Rare Adidas Manchester 1/500 Trainers UK

I would imagine that certain numbers would be more desirable to collectors and command much higher prices to serious collectors. Like 1 out of 500 and 500 of 500. Actually, even each whole hundred number would be more sought after than the others.Sadly, this is me just daydreaming as they are not individually numbered. The good news for some, and bad news for people who own genuine 1/500's, is that recently there was huge new release of Adidas GT SPZL (Spezials) Manchester and they are basically identical to the 1/500, give or take a few of the unique details that make up the true originals.

A few of these details are the embossed 1/500 numbering at the back, different side wording and tongue detail. But from a distance it would be hard to tell the difference. But for collectors, these little details mean everything, and the die hards would rather pay much more money and have the rarer, more exclusive pair than buy the not long released GT SPZL which are right now flooding eBay.

Adidas-Manchester-X-Anniversary-Edition-1/500

Have the originals lost their appeal due to the dilution of the design from the GT's being so available, and with them now widely for sale at around £150.? I would say yes. But some would argue that the X-Anniversary Edition are now more desirable and sought after. However, regardless of whichever way you look at it, they are still a really nice pair of trainers. And the new release give people the chance to own a pair, rather than just the five hundred who own the limited editions. The rarer ones are still more special though, and always will be.

V2 Zebra Yeezy Adidas 350 London Stock

Loads of people are looking around for the official UK store list that tells what shops will be stocking the latest model Yeezy 350 V2 Zebra's. If you scout around you will find the world-wide list of stores. It's been posted on most of the big trainer sites, Sneaker News, Nice Kicks etc. Sadly, while the list is extensive, listing stores from Australia, Thailand, Canada and everywhere in between, there is only one shop in the UK that is confirmed to be getting some 350 V2 Zebra's.

That shop is Adidas London@ Fouberts Place. It's a bit disappointing really that there is only one UK location, specially when you look at the list and see multiples for everywhere else. Whatever. With the situation the way it is the majority of buyers will be turning their attention to online. Try and get a pair by using the App, if there not sold out already (before the 25th Feb release!). Or, buy a Bot slot from someone on eBay. You can get one for about £10 - £15.

Just having a look on eBay for the prices of the Zebra 350. Wow, or should I say, really? Bids like crazy. They are selling for over a grand! Some are even £1200 and still have a few days or hours left. The demand for these trainers is nuts. Remember, these shoes only cost £150. That's a nice profit for the sellers. If you can't get a pair for the original price and don't want to shell out over 1K, just look at the millions of fakes being sold and buy a pair of them for less than £100. Some are actually pretty decent quality and will pass a general, long distance inspection on street.

Primeknit Boost 350 Kanye West Trainers

One of the latest Kanye West releases. And it must be said, they are actually quite nice when compared to the other Kanye West creations, such as the Red Octobers! They are basically an all-in-one design which see's no separation between the upper and the tongue. The uppers are a grey-black Primeknit, which have a middle seam and a nice hook at the heel. The ribbed sole is kitted out with Adidas Boost technology, so should provide an nice comfortable wearing experience.

Early model yeezy's

They also have a little black half circle on the upper that has the Adidas logo on one trainer and "YZY" on the other. Nice trainers that were quickly sold out due to all the hype. Best bet if you want to snag a pair that are up for sale is eBay but prices are super high. Expect to pay from £400 - £750 for genuine pairs, and beware of the cheaper buy it now auctions as there will be a lot of fakes floating around.
