Blue Adidas Manchester Marine SPZL MRN

The blue with orange / red Spezials (Original 1/500 lookalikes - see the X-Anniversary Edition here) were, and still are a huge hit. Now, the more recent addition (30th November 2016) to the Manchester range that people were racing to get hold of were the Blue MRN Marine MRN Spezials (Adidas Spezial X Oi Polloi). Crazy story's were doing the rounds on various websites and social media hangouts of people queueing up for days to make sure they do not miss out and don't have to end up paying silly money from resellers on eBay. This was thought to be the case, but right now, they are not even that much to buy from resellers on eBay. You can pick up a pair pretty cheap.

Actually, talking about eBay, there is another story going around that the Marine Spezials were for sale on eBay (in hand) before the official store release. I suppose a pre-order isn't needed then. Looks like some individuals have got some good contacts and were able to get hold of them at around the same time they were put on sale on the high street.

Also, many die-hard fans who waited night and day to buy a pair were left disappointed when they were told they were now sold out. However, some lucky campers did manage to snag a pair. The Blue Originals MRN Marine Spezials are very nice. With various shades of blue suede, and with a black sole, they are true Manchester classics.

Needless to say, at the time of their release, these trainers were sold out in quick fashion. The only hope left was eBay, where the prices from most sellers were doubled, and even tripled. Grab yourself an early Birthday present. They are worth the purchase price. And now in 2018, they are much cheaper to get hold of than most of the other hyped pairs that are released in limited numbers.

Adidas Jeans MKII Trainers In White

The streamlined MKII Jeans, in white (Look off-white in the picture), are a classic pair of Adidas to be sporting this summer. White is fresh and always associated with the summer time, so these Adidas are well suited. They have quite a thin leather upper and are finished to the usual high quality standard that Adidas are well-known for.

You can find Adidas Jeans in some really nice colourways on Amazon UK. There are some beautiful colourways available. Trust me, you have to check them out! Take a look.

The inner lining / trim colour is brown, and this is also the evident with the brown gum rubber outer sole. Just like the pairs from the early 80's. Of course, they are a 70's shoe, just about! Landing on the scene in 1979.. The first two colour ways to hit the stores in recent times were the red and green pairs (OG), both with a suede upper.

This pair is full leather and this model is a slightly more recent release. UK 6 - UK 10.5 are up for grabs. The Black / Onix colour way is also available. Check out the Hanon website blog if you want to see some nice close up pictures of the red and green pairs that were first released. Price for all variations is around the same.

Vintage Style Brown Corded Adidas ZX700

It's not often that you find a pair of Adidas ZX700 like this. The brown suede colour way is retro enough already, but to add to it these Adidas ZX700 Trainers have a vintage cord style side detail going on. These trainers are seriously cool. They are so 80's looking. It's surprising that they are being offered for sale from a fairly mainstream outlet like Office Shoes. Brilliant retro colour way, one not seen too much in recent years.

Most pairs of Adidas ZX700 do not have the corded sides like this pair. Personally, I have only seen it on this brown pair. Hopefully they make a big comeback and are going to be readily available from more outlets. Don't hold your breath though. Colourways like this are usually sold out very quickly and then only seen sporadically in sizes no one wants being sold on eBay. This pair are priced fairly cheap depending on the size. Not your average ZX700. Most adult sizes are available. Great bargain for what they are.
