Adidas Super Samba Sesame / Light Beige

Here's another new colourway to accompany the green pair that were also released. That colourway is sesame / light beige, white, with a chocolate brown back ankle and Adidas logo / wording on the tongue. Without doubt, the two most popular colours of all time in which the Super Samba were released in, are Black and Blue. That's not just in past decades either, like the 70's and 80's, but even today. However, with the many new colourways hitting the scene over the years, including some new multiple colour examples, (Green + Orange and Bright Blue / White being two that stand out) there is so much more choice for people to consider.

Sesame Samba

This is great, but there are so many true to tradition Super Samba wearers that always opt for the colourway they have always bought, so its good that the original colours are still out there for sale. This sesame / light beige example are a really cool addition to the collection. They definitely have a much more 80's look and fit about them when compared to some of the others, including the green.

Perhaps its just the promotional pictures which make them look like a more bulkier shoe from the side view. Either way, another great pair of Super Samba's in a retro colourway that are sure to get many people trying to hunt down a pair. The good news is they are widely available for sale online. eBay being one of the places that has quite a few trainer sellers with some stock. Although, certain sizes are becoming harder to find. So be quick if you are considering purchasing a pair.

Green Suede Adidas Super Samba

With new releases comes new colourways. This is great news for Adidas Super Samba fans. This time its the green and white suede's, and they do not disappoint! Super Samba are one of the most classic pairs of Adidas Originals. With a deep history in UK Football, they are a favourite among the generations that were actually on the terraces in the 1970's and 80's, and equally as popular among the younger generations. See them for sale here.

It's a good thing that the design has stayed the same, because sometimes, upgrading is a definite no no. Some things are better left as they are. The classic Samba traits include, the flat fitting mould-to-the-feet style, super long tongue, classic rubber toe bumper and side Adidas wording. Great to wear to a football match, but equally just as at home when worn with everyday relaxed casual wear. Great shoe. There's also a Sesame / light beige colourway available. Keep your eye out for a pair of those. They are nice.

Yeezy Powerphase Grey Calabasas UK

Adidas Yeezy Powerphase Grey Calabasas (CG6422) UK. Their release took place on the 9th December. Whilst they could be considered as flying under the radar when compared to the multitude of 350 releases that have recently been taking place, The Adidas Yeezy Powerphase Grey Calabasas CG6422 are the much more practical, simply better designed pair of trainers. Compared to the 350 design, they are really nice. Although, I don't know why they are labelling them as "Yeezy", as if Kanye West came up with the design.. He should take zero credit.

Yeezy Powerphase Grey Calabasas UK
Take a look at the originals, which are much more sensibly priced compared to the Yeezy Calabasas (basically no difference at all)

This design has been done since the 80's, by many different brands. In fact, one of the first to have this exact same design other than Adidas, was Reebok with their Reebok Classic range. They have leather uppers, nice thick soles, and gold "Calabasas" lettering on the side. Also with added stitching at front and heel to make them less likely to fall apart. These trainers are also available in White (CQ1693), and they are nice in that plain colourway. But the Grey are better!

Thankfully, the UK prices for the grey Calabasas, retail and even at resell prices, are considerably lower than what the hype trained 350 V2's, like the Beluga and Blue Tint are selling for. You're best bet is to quickly find a buy it now auction on eBay. If there are pairs being sold in a "let it run" to the end style auction, the price can go much higher if you and several others get into a bidding war.

Like a lot of Adidas, with Powerphase Calabasas, you may need to buy a size up to what you usually take, as Adidas trainers generally run small. All in all, these are a much cooler looking, much more subtle pair of trainers for casual wear. The 350 range of Yeezy's just scream main stream media zombie fashion follower to me, and are generally considered as kids footwear really. Or maybe I'm just getting old!

YEEZY Boost 350 V2 "Blue Tint" UK Info

Kanye West Adidas YEEZY Boost 350 V2 Blue Tint UK release date, store list, and quick low down. For Yeezy fans thing have been great over the last month or so. Three different 350 colourway releases one after the other. Frozen Yellow, Beluga, and now the last one for 2017, the Blue Tints. The official UK (and worldwide) release date is the 16th December 2017. See further below for the UK store list. So, what's new with the Blue Tints.. Well, nothing really. Same design, same Primeknit upper and Ultra Boost sole. They are basically another rehash of the now standard Yeezy Boost 350, where the only real difference is the colourway.

V2 Blue Tint

On a good note, if you're used to this style by now (you should be) at least you know what your buying and know what to expect. The Blue Tints are basically an almost spitting image to the V2 Zebra's that were released earlier this year. And as far as the colour blue goes, the Tint in these blue tints is extremely bland and faded. It resembles a weak aqua (water) type colour. If you didn't cop a pair from the other latest releases this might be a good time for you to try and purchase a pair. Reseller prices for these last 3 colourways have been really low for some reason.

Perhaps its the Xmas season, and everything that involves money wise that has people spending their money elsewhere. For anyone other than a collector, reseller or die hard Yeezy fan, I'd say save your money, as you're not missing much from not buying this pair. However, if you can get them at the retail price it may be worth a punt if you have the spare cash. They will cost around £150 or a little bit more from official high street stores. With that said, here is the UK store list. There may be more added here as the release date draws nearer.

Adidas Cardiff 1/500 Deadstock For Sale

Deadstock Adidas Cardiff 1/500's are one of the thinner, more minimalistic pairs from the city pack collection. Other pairs of Adidas Originals that also fit the same mould from the same collection, are London and Dublin. Other pairs, such as the Manchester's (See them here) and Birmingham, are a more thicker, and more substantial shoe overall. Where are they for sale?. You may be able to find a pair for sale on certain collector forums or certain websites that try to source pairs of deadstock trainers to resell. But your best bet is probably eBay.

Rare Originals

More recently being part of the Size? release, Cardiff are a very nice pair of trainers. The predominantly black upper (with yellow) is made from leather. This mix of colours are a symbol of the St. David cross, which is connected to Wales. The other material is suede, but that is only seen on the toe cap and the eyestay (the surrounding area where the eyelets are located). They also have the bubbled style tongue and fancy, signature style "Cardiff" wording on the side. They are a really tidy pair of collectibles.

Rare City Pack Footwear

Unlike some limited edition Adidas that don't have any number indication (1/20 - 1/500, etc), such as the Green Ardwick X (See them here), Cardiff do have the iconic "1/500" embossed numbering at the back of the shoe.

Like the others, Adidas Cardiff 1/500 were / are in huge demand. And with only five hundred pairs to go around, the price people are willing to pay when they are found for sale is rather high. They are now quite rare after all. Even with used examples, they still fetch several hundred pounds a pair quite easily.

Once worn out, some people even have them restored. But, if we compare them to when new Yeezy's hit the shelves, considering that a brand new pair of Cardiff go for around £500, they are not really that expensive in comparison to what some of the Yeezy's sell for online. And I know which pair I'd rather spend my money on.
